• Successful experience as a Purchasing Agent / Buyer in manufacturing is required.
• Ability to grow to Purchasing Manager in 2 years. (others here don’t have that ability)
• Experience buying a variety of items is a plus, as the Purchasing Agent could buy everything from office supplies to manufacturing equipment.
• Stable work history is required.
• Four-year degree is desired.

POSITION:
This position is responsible for purchasing all the needed materials and services for a plant, and will purchase some goods that support the entire company. Organizing and maintaining a target inventory that balances manufacturing efficiency, inventory levels, and customer requirements.
