BACKGROUND:
- Need an A player who can grow to the top technical position in the plant in the near future.
- Four-year degree is required and an Engineering degree is a plus.
- Successful Maintenance leadership in manufacturing is required, and Food & Beverage manufacturing is a plus.
- High-energy with strong leadership, coaching, and training skills.
POSITION:
Responsible for overall equipment repair and maintenance as well as regulatory requirements for the plant. Leads department to move from a largely preventive to a largely predictive maintenance mindset. Proposes and leads projects to upgrade equipment/facilities consistent with company goals and government regulations. Prepares and monitors department budget, hires and manages required maintenance staff to meet or exceed goals in the area of productivity, cost, safety, morale, quality and service. There are 9 mechanics in this nonunion, food manufacturing plant.
